Samantha Mohr

Mohr is a UGA student who suggested she to compete in into Miss Columbus 1985 pageant, took home the crown. After winning, Mohr was eligible to compete in an entry into the Miss Georgia pageant which was held in June of 1985. Mohr won the competition on June 22nd on the 22nd of June in 1985. The winner earned more than $3,500 in cash scholarships as well as other prizes from the state pageant. She was Miss Georgia and was a public figure across Georgia in the course of her obligations. Mohr participated as Georgia at Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on September 15, 1985. With computer models that accurately forecasted that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were set at 22 to one. Mohr did not make the list of the top 10 contenders for the Miss America crown. Mohr's stint in the role of Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
